I am interested in the interaction between plants and microorganisms (beneficial and pathogenic) and in the development of alternative methods to chemical control:

Stimulation of natural plant defenses to biotic and abiotic stresses
Studies on the PGPR-plant-pathogen interaction
Genetic biodiversity of soil microbial communities
Epidemiology, developing genetic markers to monitor parasite evolution and mutations responsible for pesticide resistance (fungicides & herbicides)
Reasonable use of fungicides (timing, dose, application, ..... etc)
