The challenges of responsible marketing and distribution

Improving the customer experience, changing purchasing and information paths, consumption criteria and modes, the return of naturalness and the desire to consume responsibly... these are all challenges to be met.

Manufacturers, distributors, restaurateurs, but also suppliers and service providers: all the players in the sector are concerned! Who better than the engineer to accompany these changes by improving the offer and developing the products and services of tomorrow?

Engineers have a global vision of the parameters that come into play. His technical skills will enable him to ensure the credibility of the announced benefits and to take into account the constraints. Their marketing, communication and sales skills will be developed to understand the market, make informed decisions and implement action plans that will enhance the value of the offer.

Operational Marketing and Business Development Major

The major corresponds to the courses specific to the course. It consists of course sequences and projects.

  • Marketing mix: product, range and brand policy, pricing, distribution, communication strategy, digital and responsible marketing   
  • Fundamentals of business development: customer profile and path, commercial relations, sales force management, ethics of commercial relations...   
  • E-commerce or e-marketing project


Minors

Each semester includes 2 blocks dedicated to minors, corresponding to 54 hours of complementary courses that allow students to complete their training in a related field.

Several minors are offered on the Rouen campus, some of which require travel to the campus (others can be taken at a distance).

Minors

Each semester includes 2 blocks dedicated to minors, corresponding to 54 hours of complementary courses that allow students to complete their training in a related field.

Several minors are offered on the Rouen campus, some of which require on-site visits (others can be taken by distance learning).

In semester 9, you can choose your path according to your desires, by choosing among :

  • one of the main majors in the Responsible Marketing and Distribution track, which goes into more depth in this area (subject to change):       
    • Trade marketing and distribution management (Beauvais campus)       
    • Responsible Food Marketing (Beauvais campus)   
  • one or more opening majors, designed to broaden your skills in another area (subject to change):       
    • Purchasing and Supply Chain (Beauvais campus)       
    • QHSE, CSR, Risk manager (Beauvais campus)       
    • Intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship and innovation (Beauvais campus)   
  • a semester, a double degree or a degree-granting stay in France or abroad (from 12 to 18 months for a double degree or a degree-granting stay)

The end-of-studies project is based on an internship in a company or a research internship for students, or on the long period in a company for students following an apprenticeship program.

It leads to the writing of a thesis and an oral presentation.
