Speak & Act has just revealed the list of the 11 schools awarded the label and UniLaSalle's 6th place in the "Best Employer Experience 2023" ranking of French engineering schools according to the satisfaction rate of employers and professionals.

Through a questionnaire composed of four major themes (Quality of teaching, CSR approach and positive impact, Quality of the intern or work-study student, Recognition of the school as an employer), 162 internship supervisors and apprenticeship supervisors were able to give their points of view on the UniLaSalle students that they host within their companies. Only 11 French engineering schools obtained the label out of the 28 schools that participated.

Thanks to its proximity to companies, as demonstrated by the rankings of l'Etudiant or Usine Nouvelle 2023, UniLaSalle's obtaining the "Best Employer Experience 2023" label is a real recognition of the work done by the teaching staff to help each student develop professionally, but also a real guarantee of quality for companies looking for new employees since :

  • 81% of tutors and recruiters are satisfied with their trainee/work placement (the average of the 14344 responses for higher education establishments being 78%);
  • 77% wish to continue recruiting profiles from UniLaSalle (vs. 68%);

"The students from UniLaSalle have shown solid theoretical knowledge, proof of quality training. Their seriousness and their ability to listen also enabled them to integrate easily into the work team," said Cédric BUKOWSKI, head of the Voice and Data Infrastructure Office at the Ministry of Justice's Digital Service.

One of UniLaSalle's strong wishes is to prepare its students as well as possible for the demands of the professional world and it is committed to this preparation throughout their course of study through numerous theoretical and practical lessons and professional situations.

This support is bearing fruit since :

  • 67% of tutors and recruiters consider that the institution sufficiently prepares students for the professional world (the average being 60% in higher education institutions);
  • 71% consider that students and apprentices have a satisfactory level of foreign language skills (vs. 56%);
  • 78% consider that UniLaSalle students demonstrate professionalism (vs. 70%);
  • 79% consider that UniLaSalle students show professional adaptability (vs. 68%).

On the ecological and societal transition aspect, 71% of the professionals questioned believe that students are prepared to have a positive impact on the world of tomorrow (vs. 67%).

"The students in our structure are aware of the issues of today and tomorrow. Their professional projects are most often linked to an action approach to change or improve industrial and environmental issues", says Etienne le Goff, manager of GexplOre.
