The Energy Resources track is designed for students interested in the energy sector.

You will study in depth the reservoirs and their functioning, especially in an unconventional context.

Through case studies and a land-sea field school, you will learn to detect, characterize and model hydrocarbon reservoirs from data you have acquired and analyzed thanks to your geophysical knowledge.

Focus
Land-Sea Field School

The Land-Sea field school allows students to put themselves in the shoes of a scientific crew on a multi-track marine seismic acquisition campaign of a ship of the French Oceanographic Fleet, the NO Téthys 2.

Their missions?

  • To prepare the acquisition plan according to precise scientific objectives,
  • implement the equipment,
  • to relay with the sailors,
  • supervise the acquisition by organizing themselves by watch.
