Since February, the farmer and YouTubeur Thierry Bailliet (Thierry agriculteur d'aujourd'hui) travels the roads of France at the wheel of a tractor. The objective: to speak about agriculture, with farmers... but not on

After a start at the foot of the Eiffel Tower on February 27 and a first loop in Brittany, the next stages of the CoFarming tour are being prepared in the Hauts-de-France. This original tour of France is led by CoFarming, a group of 18 startups linked to the agricultural sector.

On Monday, June 14, at 2:30 p.m., UniLaSalle will host a discussion that will bring together the partners of the Isère stage of this original tour of France: Valtra (AGCO), Isagri, Michelin and UniLaSalle around Thierry Bailliet to discuss the topic

"AgTech, professions of the future to help agriculture progress "*.

A signing session of Thierry Bailliet's book is planned in the agora of the Institute at the end of this strong time.

Participation in the stage on registration

Why host the CoFarming tour?
For several years, the place given to digital technology in agronomy has been growing at UniLaSalle, which has long been known as a field school. The creation of the FabLab AgriLab, the Agromachinism and New Technologies Chair, the recent launch of the Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Digital and Embedded Technologies (AgriTEN), and an Eramus+ Cooperation partnerships in higher education project confirm UniLaSalle's willingness to train students on the subject.
