The GoLaSalle x La Salle Universities international scheme facilitates exchanges

Third year students in UniLaSalle's engineering courses benefit from the GoLaSalle scheme. In return, the campuses receive interns from LaSallian Universities. The Rennes site is lucky enough to welcome 2 students from this scheme for a few weeks.

Alonso RdG arrives from the Universidad La Salle de México where he is preparing a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. As part of his internship, he is in charge of studying the treatment of an emerging compound by photocatalysis combined with a biological treatment-ecotoxicity tests. This study requires mainly knowledge in chemistry and microbiology. It involves the skills of several teacher-researchers of the Cyclann team (Hayet Djelal and Hicham Zeghioud).

Omar F. comes from the Universidad La Salle in Bogota. He is studying for a Master of Science in Biology and chose UniLaSalle Rennes | École des métiers de l'environnement to join the Cyclann platform and more specifically the research project on which Messika Revel, teacher-researcher, is working: development of biomarkers of genotoxicity (micronuclei) and immunotoxicity (enzymatic activities) in aquatic organisms. This study requires notions of general biology or biochemistry or cell biology.

Hosting of 4 ERASMUS+ PhD students and interns | International mobility

Fadimatou H. is doing a master 2 in chemistry at the University of Maroua in Cameroon in the framework of a bilateral cooperation agreement and the ERASMUS+ International Mobility program.

Sarah B. F. is starting her project as part of her Erasmus Incoming trip. Sarah is working on the impact of biochar addition and on the impact of sonication on biogas production by anaerobic digestion. She is supervised by Hayet Djelal and Lydia Fryda from the Cyclann team.

Mouhamadou S. is preparing the PhD/PhP degree. His internship is about the synthesis and characterization of Activated Carbon Composite Materials (in connection with the European research project INTERREG ThreeC).

Raul M. L., student at the University of Léon in Spain and co-supervised by Frédéric Ebner and Jean-Marie Cariolet, teacher-researchers. Raul evaluates and maps the green, blue and black grid in urban areas: the case of the city of Rennes.
