The challenges of sustainable organizations

The Strategy for Sustainable Organizations program aims to meet the challenges of corporate environmental and social performance through two main objectives:

  • to reduce the environmental impact of products, services and organizational systems right from the design stage (eco-design, product or service life-cycle analysis, etc.)
  • support the transition of companies and regions in a complex and uncertain world.

minors

Each semester includes 2 blocks dedicated to minors, corresponding to 54 hours of complementary teaching, enabling students to complete their training in a related field.

Several minors are offered on the Beauvais campus, some of which require on-site travel (others can be taken by distance learning).

Proposed minors

Block 1: Packaging / Biotechnologies (bioprocesses and environmental microbiology) / Industrial and municipal waste management / Energy efficiency in industrial processes / Research and development in environmental sciences / Scientific approach - Research - Beginner

Block 2: Food hygiene and quality (in the agri-food industry and catering) / Geographic information system (GIS) / Polymer life cycle / Environmental authorization / Scientific approach - Research - Beginner / Consolidate your level of English - Validate the level required

In semester 8, two majors are offered:

  • a main major taught in English: Ecodesign and Circular Economy   
  • an opening major taught in English: Energy Transition and Renewable Energies

In Semester 9, you can choose to follow your own path, by selecting from :

  • one of the two main majors in the Strategy for Sustainable Organizations pathway, which delves more deeply into this field:
    • CSR/RSO - Changing behaviors       
    • Territories in transformation   
  • one or more opening majors, designed to broaden your skills in another field:       
    • Ecological engineering (Rennes campus)       
    • QHSE, CSR, Risk manager (Beauvais campus)        I
    • Intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship and innovation (Beauvais campus)   
  • a semester, double degree or degree-granting stay in France or abroad (from 12 to 18 months for a double degree or degree-granting stay)

The final project is based on an in-company work placement or research placement for students, or on the long period spent in a company for apprentices.

A final dissertation is written and presented orally.
