The Automated Production and Connected Factory engineering program trains engineers capable of intervening throughout the production chain to improve design, management, productivity, maintenance and quality. It is oriented towards the factory of the future and the interconnection of systems for better production management.
The connected factory, or smart factory, will work with connected machines that will know the object's production history and final demand in order to respond perfectly and independently.
These connected objects also become capable of interacting with their environment. The machines communicate with each other and adapt to the demand in real time.
They are also able to contact a specialist in case of failure who can then analyze it remotely, thanks to augmented reality glasses for example, a real time and money saver for the company.
