It's official! UniLaSalle has received authorization from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food to launch a veterinary school on its Rouen campus in September 2022.
Already well known as a reference engineering school in the Life Sciences, the UniLaSalle Polytechnic Institute has been carrying this ambition for many years. Today, this project is becoming a reality on our Rouen campus, in the heart of Normandy, an emblematic region for livestock breeding.
While respecting the highest European quality standards, the UniLaSalle veterinary school intends to participate positively in the dynamics of French veterinary education with :
- innovative teaching methods,
- a new approach to clinical training,
- international experience
- a stronger link with the various players in the veterinary profession.

The opening of a new veterinary school will make it possible to meet many of the profession's challenges. The project led by UniLaSalle is based on four major ambitions:
- A school that enriches the French veterinary training offer
- A school that will take care to strengthen the link with the rural world
- A school that will be careful to train veterinarians who are well in tune with today's professional world
- A school that has a research project at the heart of the One Health initiative
It is already possible to apply for this new program via Parcoursup to join the first year of the program in September.
