The annual Erasmus Mundus emPLANT+ Master's ceremony took place on Thursday, August 28, at UniLaSalle Beauvais.
This event was an opportunity to welcome the new class of students (Class 5) and to say goodbye to Class 3 through presentations of their theses and a graduation ceremony.
Family members were in attendance, as were academic representatives from our partner universities, two alumni from the first class who recounted their experiences, and the CEO of the French Seed Union, who reviewed the challenges facing the plant breeding sector, among other topics.

The Erasmus Mundus emPLANT+ Master's program is an international program of excellence in plant sciences and plant biotechnology. It is co-funded by the European Union and aims to train experts capable of meeting the challenges of sustainable agriculture, food security, and innovation in the plant sector. This master's program lasts two years, takes place in at least two European partner countries, and awards a multiple degree recognized by the universities in the consortium.
UniLaSalle Beauvais is one of the six partner institutions in the emPLANT+ consortium. It plays a key role in welcoming students for specialized courses, particularly in agronomy, plant biotechnology, and natural resource management. UniLaSalle contributes its expertise in life sciences and sustainable agriculture and participates in the educational coordination and welcoming of students for certain semesters or modules of the program.
