Fidèle à son engagement d’inclusion, UniLaSalle fait évoluer son dispositif de bourses au mérite pour favoriser davantage encore l’accès aux études supérieures des étudiants boursiers.
What's changing for students in engineering and bachelor's degree programs
The new policy, which will take effect at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year, offers the following to students receiving a Level 6 or 7 scholarship who earned a “Very Good” grade on their high school diploma:
- tuition-free for the first two years of study (Integrated preparatory program for engineering and bachelor's degrees)
- a 50% reduction in tuition for the 3rd year (1st year of an engineering program or 3rd year of a bachelor's degree program).
For scholarship recipients at all levels who have earned a grade of “Good” or “Fairly Good,” the program remains unchanged from last year.

The merit-based scholarship program for veterinary students
There will be no changes, however, for students at the UniLaSalle Veterinary School, whose merit-based scholarship program will remain unchanged for next year.
The eligibility criteria are slightly different here:
- 75% reduction in tuition fees for the top 8 scholarship recipients who earned a “Very Good” grade on the Baccalaureate exam;
- 25% reduction in tuition fees for other scholarship recipients who earned a “Very Good” grade on the Baccalaureate exam.
How are the 8 students selected who are eligible for a 75% tuition reduction?
UniLaSalle uses a two-part ranking system based on grade level and high school GPA, prioritizing merit-based scholarships according to the following criteria:
- First, students are ranked in descending order based on their financial aid tier: students receiving a CROUS grant at Tier 7 are given priority, followed by Tier 6…
- Then, students with the same financial aid tier are ranked based on their high school graduation exam score.
There are other financial options available
In addition to merit-based scholarships, other programs can help students and their families finance their studies at UniLaSalle.
State scholarships, emergency grants, housing and transportation assistance, interest-free loans… These are all options that make it easier to finance a long course of study.
Work-study programs: an ideal way to finance your education
The reason the program focuses on the early years of study is very simple: UnilaSalle offers students the opportunity to pursue a work-study program starting in the 3rdeyear of their engineering degree.
This program offers students a twofold advantage:
- It is particularly career-oriented;
- Tuition is fully covered by the host company.
At UniLaSalle, all engineering programs offer work-study options in two distinct formats:
- Apprenticeship (grades 9–11)
- Vocational Training Contract (grade 11 only)
Bachelor's degree programs also offer work-study options, although the specifics and timing may vary from one program to another.
100% work-study bachelor's degrees:
- AgriTEC Bachelor's Degree – Embedded Systems for Agriculture
- Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Agribusiness
Partially work-study bachelor's degrees:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environment & Sustainable Development (work-study program in the 2nd and 3rd years)
- Bachelor's in Geosciences & Environment (work-study program starting in the 2nd semester of the 2nd year)
- Bachelor's Degree in Digital Systems & Innovative Technologies (work-study program in the 3rd year)
