Thierry Lhotte has taken over as chair of the new “Générations UniLaSalle” 2025-2029 sponsorship campaign.
After graduating with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from ISAB (now UniLaSalle) in 1986, Thierry Lhotte led the development of several major brands and held strategic management positions at AGCO. He left the group in 2025 to devote himself to his personal projects, including chairing the “Générations UniLaSalle” fundraising campaign.
For Thierry Lhotte, getting involved in this sponsorship campaign is above all a way of giving back to UniLaSalle and society what they have given him.
He considers himself privileged: he has had a rich career, made possible by the quality of the education he received at ISAB—now UniLaSalle—and the strong human values that are taught there.

Perpetuating a unique educational model
Through this commitment, he hopes to contribute to perpetuating a unique educational model, Lasallian pedagogy, which trains engineers and professionals who are recognized as much for their competence as for their humanity.
“What I like about this model is the balance between kindness and high standards. You can be attentive to others while still striving for performance. It is this combination that I want to help preserve and strengthen.”
“Passing on the values that shaped me is why I agreed to chair the Générations UniLaSalle sponsorship campaign; out of gratitude and conviction.”
A personal and regional commitment
Beauvais is where it all began—both for him and for the school. He lived and worked there and saw the institution grow.
Seeing UniLaSalle flourish today in Amiens, Rennes, and Rouen is, for him, a tremendous opportunity for young people. "This expansion, beyond the growth of the school, multiplies interpersonal skills and know-how, which puts students at the heart of their education and gives them confidence for the future. “
As president of the Jean-Baptiste Gagne Foundation's ”Générations UniLaSalle" campaign, Thierry Lhotte calls on everyone—graduates, employees, partners, friends—to come together to pass on to future generations what the school has offered them: an excellent education, human values, and a spirit of openness.
“Thierry Lhotte will undoubtedly be able to unite and mobilize all the driving forces behind UniLaSalle's educational project. This is so important in the current gloomy national climate! United in action, our Foundation congratulates Thierry for his commitment, which is so valuable to our community.”
