This 2025 ranking confirms that environmental and social commitment is at the heart of UniLaSalle's educational project and that the school plays a major role in the transition to a more sustainable society.
In the brand new 2025 ranking of leading universities committed to ecological and social transition, UniLaSalle confirms its place among the institutions that best prepare future engineers for the environmental and societal challenges of tomorrow. This ranking, compiled by ChangeNOW and Les Echos based on surveys of schools, is based on some forty criteria measuring the integration of climate, social, and sustainability issues into training programs, institutional strategies, student life, and the overall impact of the school.
A structured and recognized commitment
"This positioning rewards years of work to integrate environmental issues across the board into the school's teaching and culture. Thanks to its Uni4Change policy, UniLaSalle has developed an educational model where sustainability is not an isolated module, but a common thread at all levels of training," says Geoffroy Belhenniche, Director of Ecological and Societal Transformation at UniLaSalle.
Action-oriented education
One of the strengths of UniLaSalle's commitment is the way in which the school trains its students to become agents of change. Indeed, UniLaSalle scores highly on the theme of education, placing the institution among the leaders in this field.
“The curricula systematically integrate ecological and social transition issues through interdisciplinary courses, sustainable innovation projects, and teaching that encourages students to think and act beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries,” explains Caroline LeMoulec, head of ecological and societal transformation at UniLaSalle.
An engaged and inspiring student life
UniLaSalle's commitment is also evident in its student associations: students play a leading role in the ecological transition on campus. Each student association has a representative dedicated to sustainable development, trained to take concrete initiatives in favor of the environment and society. Based on this criterion, Lasallian associations are among the most involved in the national rankings. Find out more on page 14 of the December 11, 2025, special talent edition of Les Échos.
This dynamic proves that sustainable commitment is not only taught, but also alive in the daily lives of students, who are already experimenting with impactful projects today.
Preparing tomorrow's leaders
By climbing the rankings of schools most committed to ecological and social transition, UniLaSalle demonstrates its ability to combine academic excellence with social responsibility. At a time when the expectations of students, businesses, and society toward educational institutions have never been higher, the school is leading the way by training engineers who understand, anticipate, and address environmental and social challenges.
