UniLaSalle was present at the Francophone Open Badges Forum in Vannes, France, from June 3 to 5, to present the project to create a European Passport to Open Badges for Climate.
Vannes, June 3 to 5, 2025 - UniLaSalle took part in the Forum Francophone des Open Badges, a key event for the open recognition of skills. Marc Legras, Director of Training at UniLaSalle Rouen, presented the OpenPass4Climate (OP4C) project through a poster he designed in collaboration with Kimberley Burcke, International Projects Officer, and Fatma Fourati, Marketing and Strategic Intelligence teacher-researcher at UniLaSalle Beauvais.
Under the slogan “Open Badges at the service of talent and business”, this forum was an opportunity to show how these digital devices can enhance the skills developed in a variety of contexts: academic, professional or civic.
Coordinated by UniLaSalle, the OP4C project brings together five European partners (UniLaSalle, UNICA, CSCI, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Universidad de Valladolid) and is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program.
Its aim: to create a multilingual European Passport of Open Badges for the Climate, enabling students to have their commitment to climate education and action recognized.
Over three years (2022-2025), OP4C is building and testing an innovative platform connecting learners to climate-focused projects across Europe. This open recognition system aims to support sustainable learning and raise the profile of environmental skills.
