Each year, the Happy At School survey gives students a voice to evaluate their quality of life within their institution.

 

At UniLaSalle, all classes, from Bachelor's to Engineering, are surveyed, providing an accurate and representative view of the experience across all our campuses and in each of our programs.

This year, UniLaSalle ranks third among engineering schools with more than 1,000 students, confirming national recognition of the quality of its learning environment.

Academic excellence recognized by students

The 2025 results confirm UniLaSalle's commitment to providing high-quality academic support.

Students highlight the approachability, availability, and involvement of the teaching staff:

  • 86.6% of students say that their professors and academic advisors are available when they need them, compared to 77.7% at other schools.
  • 85.9% believe that the equipment and facilities available to them create good learning conditions, compared to an average of 67.7% at other schools.

These results demonstrate the importance UniLaSalle places on a modern learning environment that supports the success and fulfillment of each individual.

Education firmly focused on sustainable development

True to its mission of training responsible actors, UniLaSalle fully integrates sustainable development issues into its programs.

Students clearly attest to this:

  • 87.5% believe that courses sufficiently integrate sustainable development issues, compared to 68.1% at other schools.
  • 88.5% believe that the school prepares them to have a positive impact on tomorrow's world, compared to a national average of 75.7%.

These results confirm UniLaSalle's position as a leading institution in the transition to a sustainable future.

Professional integration: a strong network and effective resources

The UniLaSalle experience also stands out for the strength of its network and the quality of its employment support services:

  • 87.3% of students say they are developing a network that will be useful for their future careers, compared to 72.6% at other schools.
  • 83.8% say they are satisfied with the resources available to help them find a job, internship, or work-study program—a figure well above the average for other schools (68%).

UniLaSalle ranks second in the HappyIndex®AtSchool 2024 ranking in the category of engineering schools with more than 500 students.

 

The HappyIndex®AtSchool 2024 ranking aims to highlight schools where the student experience is rated most highly by their own students. Each student is invited to express their opinion and evaluate five areas:

  • Educational environment & student life,
  • Teaching/pedagogy,
  • Employability,
  • Confidence in the future
  • Sustainable development.

After five consecutive years of Happy At School certification, this excellent result marks the unquestionable commitment of all UniLaSalle stakeholders to a fulfilling student life, rich in both academic and extra-curricular experiences, while taking into account the challenges of tomorrow.

UniLaSalle has made the student experience a real priority so that every student who spends part of their education there can find their place in society while acquiring technical and interpersonal skills.

4th in terms of gender equality

With 49.1% of its student body being female, UniLaSalle ranks among the most advanced engineering schools in terms of gender equality. This dynamic is reflected in the results of the Happy at School 2024 survey, where the institution ranks 4th in the “Focus Women” category, with a female student satisfaction rate 3.8 points higher than the national average.

Key indicators point to an environment conducive to personal development and career prospects: 90.7% of female students say they are confident about the future (+4.4 points above the average), and their perception of employability also exceeds the standard (+4.2 points).

The student experience is another strong point: 93.8% satisfaction, nearly 16 points above the average for engineering schools.

Finally, UniLaSalle's CSR commitment is particularly recognized by its students, with a satisfaction rate of 90.2%, 9.2 points above the average.

UniLaSalle also achieved an excellent result in social responsibility, where the school ranks an impressive 3rdplace in the “Engineering Schools” category. The school even tops the ranking of private schools.

91.3% of UniLaSalle students believe that their school allows them to participate in initiatives with a positive impact, either through club activities or through scholarships or sponsored programs. This figure is well above the average for engineering schools, which have a satisfaction rate of 66%.

87.5% are also satisfied with the school's environmental approach, and 87.6% with the integration of sustainable development issues into the curriculum. The figures for other schools are 66.7% and 68.1% respectively.

These excellent figures reflect the CSR dynamic initiated by UniLaSalle through its Uni4Change policy.

For the fifth consecutive year, UniLaSalle has been awarded the Happy at School Label for its four campuses, with a score of 8.44/10 attesting to a student experience that is particularly appreciated at all levels. This year, the questionnaire has been modified to better reflect the theme of sustainable development.

 

Confidence in the future: a real asset!

In October-November 2023, 921 fourth- and fifth-year engineering students from UniLaSalle's four campuses (Amiens, Beauvais, Rennes, Rouen) took part in the ChoosemyCompany survey to assess the quality of their student experience based on five themes:

  • Educational environment & student life,
  • Teaching/pedagogy,
  • Employability,
  • Confidence in the future,
  • Sustainable development.

As in the previous year, confidence in the future is a real point of differentiation among UniLaSalle students, with 92.4% of those surveyed believing they will be able to find a job that matches their values, aspirations, and skills, and 88.6% believing that the school is preparing them to have a positive impact on the world of tomorrow.

At the same time, the values of sustainable development and the practices adopted at UniLaSalle are particularly noteworthy, with 91.3% of students appreciating the opportunity to participate in initiatives with a positive impact (associations, students, sponsored programs, scholarships, etc.) and 87.5% believing that the school is committed to a responsible environmental approach.

Student life and teaching remain as popular as ever for 92% of them.

High satisfaction among students at UniLaSalle, an engineering school ranked in the top 10 of the Happy AtSchool 2022 barometer

 

For the third consecutive year, UniLaSalle has confirmed its place in the top 10 of the HappyAtSchool®2022 ranking. With a score of 8.42 out of 10, the Polytechnic Institute ranks 8th in the “engineering school” category, which includes 200 participating schools.

The ranking, compiled by Choose My Company, provides a 360° analysis of the student experience, capturing additional information on the learning environment, sustainable development, teaching and hybrid pedagogy, student life, employability, and more.

With 99.3% of reviews certified by Choose My Company for 1,993 participants, UniLaSalle is the only engineering school to show consistent student satisfaction across its four campuses: Amiens, Beauvais, Rennes, and Rouen.

Confidence in the future

This year, students who responded to the survey praised UniLaSalle's efforts in supporting their career plans:

  • 91% of them believe that they will find a job that matches their personal aspirations at the end of their studies
  • 90% believe that UniLaSalle provides services that are useful for their professional development
