The current technological revolution, with big data, data management, the machine-tractor relationship, field modeling, dose modulation, management piloted for the farmer from his office, will help the agricultural equipment industry to participate in the ecological transition. This very strong development of new technologies requires new talents to be able to sell them, manage them, follow them and explain them in training. Unfortunately, we see a lack of training in this field and a difficulty in recruiting these talents. The world of higher education must therefore continue to evolve and adapt to these new needs, for all importing players who want to develop in France and Europe.

UniLaSalle, a polytechnic institute of higher education, is already a specialist in training for living organisms and agro-equipment with several programs at different levels. After exchanges, UniLaSalle has developed this bachelor's degree corresponding to our current and especially future needs. We are already hiring young people from UniLaSalle as engineers but find this new bachelor's degree complementary to existing training programs, with a more marked specialization of incoming profiles in technologies applied to the agricultural world. We therefore support this new curriculum and source of new jobs.
