For a year now, 83 student-engineers have been members of the Les Ovalies association. UniLaSalle has worked to organize the largest university rugby tournament in Europe for the purpose of solidarity.

Each year, the funds collected are donated to charitable associations. More than 500 000€ have already been collected and more than 40 associations supported since 1995. This year, the associations Oscar's Angel, CAP SAAA and Manao Madagascar will benefit from the generosity of the organizing volunteers.

Sevens, XV and wheelchair rugby tournaments

The Marcel communeau stadium in Beauvais will welcome more than 2,000 players from France and Europe this year: men's and women's rugby sevens and men's rugby XV. For the first time, a wheelchair rugby tournament will be organized.
In parallel, a Pompom tournament will bring together supporters and players during the event.

Sports and political personalities expected for the occasion

After Sébastien Chabal, Vincent Clerc, Christophe Dominici, Serge Betsen, Imanol Harinordoquy and Dimitri Yachivili, it is Thierry Dusautoir, emblematic player of the French XV, who will be sponsoring the 28th edition of the Ovalies UniLaSalle.
Benjamin Allain-Saurin, a member of the French cheerleading team who participated in the world championships in Orlando, will also be present at the event to sponsor the Pompom tournament.
The final will be refereed by Christophe Berdos, international rugby XV referee, named best referee of the Top 14 for the 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons.
Finally, this edition will be marked by the presence of the Minister of Disabled Persons, Geneviève Darrieussecq, as well as the support of Mrs. Amélie Oudéa-Castérale, Minister of Sports and Olympic and Paralympic Games.
