Because the financial aspects are too often an obstacle to the pursuit of studies, UniLaSalle supports its future students with a wide variety of financing mechanisms...

An overview of the possibilities offered.

Programs for Bachelors and Engineers

State aid

CROUS grants, APL, ALS, etc. These means-tested grants provide a welcome boost to students.

Jean-Baptiste Gagne Foundation scholarships and honorary loans

A device specific to UniLaSalle, the Jean-Baptiste Gagne Foundation's grants or loans of honour can be applied for by students experiencing great temporary difficulty. Their amount ranges from 1 000 € to 3 000 €.

Merit-based grants

Because state grants are not always enough to enable you to continue your higher education, UniLaSalle has set up specific aid for grant-holders.

Thanks to this scheme, scholarship students who have obtained an honours degree can obtain a reduction ranging from 10% to 50% on their tuition fees for the entire pre-engineering cycle (the first 2 years of the engineering course).

Terms and conditions

Testimony of Lohenn, a scholarship student in his second year of the Environmental Engineering program at the Rennes campus

"I was looking for an engineering course related to the environment and the challenges of sustainable development, and I discovered the one offered by UniLaSalle.
The merit-based grant relieves my parents and gives me a lot of peace of mind. My choice to join a course of study linked to sustainable development was motivated by the desire to respond to future challenges in terms of the transition to a more ecological, supportive and socially aware society.
Thus, I warmly thank the Jean-Baptiste Gagne Foundation and all its donors for the existence of this scholarship, which concretizes our will to act for the planet."

The grants for international stays

Erasmus+ grants, ranging from €165 to €365, help you finance a study stay or internship in a European Union country.
The Ministry of Agriculture also grants scholarships ("DGER scholarships") in the context of an internship abroad in a company or a farm.

UniLaSalle's advantage: the ADREG grant gives a nice boost to students wishing to carry out an international internship in the environmental field.

An interest-free loan

Because of a complicated economic and social context, UniLaSalle and its Jean-Baptiste Gagne Foundation have decided to launch a specific financial device in the form of an honorary loan at 0 rate, without a guarantee, thanks to a partnership with the Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie. The amounts can range from €1,500 to €5,000.

Work-study training, a real plus for your wallet

In addition to providing solid professional experience, work-study programs are a real financial boon for students, since the host company pays the entire cost of tuition. Whether you are under an apprenticeship contract or a professionalization contract, you also receive a salary.

At UniLaSalle, all the engineering courses as well as certain bachelors and masters of science offer this demanding study method, at least for part of the curriculum.

Schemes for veterinary training

A complementary scholarship for state scholarship holders

Students with state scholarships who have passed their Bac with honors are eligible for an annual scholarship for the first three years of schooling in UniLaSalle's veterinary program:

  • 8 scholarships, amounting to 75% of the tuition fees, are distributed according to the level and the academic record (priority to the State scholarship level, then to the best records).
  • Other students receive a scholarship amounting to 25% of the tuition fees.

The study and professional project allowance

In addition, UniLaSalle accompanies and puts 4th year students wishing to obtain a study and professional project allowance in contact with the local authorities having a policy of aiding the installation of veterinarians in rural areas (DDADUE 2021 law).

Zero interest loans

Students enrolled in veterinary training can take out a zero interest loan, without a guarantee. The guarantee is provided by UniLaSalle.
