250 fully furnished studio apartments, just a 10-minute walk from the UniLaSalle Amiens campus. Since the start of the school year in September 2026, students in Amiens have had access to a new housing option thanks to the completion last June of the Jean-Baptiste de la Salle residence.
The residence was officially inaugurated on October 3 in the presence of Frédéric Fauvet, president of Amiens Métropole and mayor of Amiens, and Philippe Choquet, CEO of UniLaSalle, alongside the students.
A residence open to students from any institution
The residence accommodates students from UniLaSalle Amiens but is also open to students from other higher education institutions in Amiens.
By combining housing, workspaces, and social areas near the campus, the residence enables students to pursue their studies under the best possible conditions.
Each studio is approximately 18 m² and is fully equipped. Residents also have access to common areas:
- a coworking space for working alone or in groups;
- a large lobby and common area for socializing;
- a fitness room;
- a laundry room;
- parking spaces and a bike rack.
The goal is to bring together housing, personal study, sports, and shared experiences in one place, right next to the classrooms.
Deadlines met!
The construction of the Jean-Baptiste de la Salle residence was carried out in partnership with AMSOM Habitat. The schedule was strictly adhered to, allowing for completion in June 2026 and an official key handover in the middle of summer, one year after construction began.
This strict adherence to the schedule enabled the residence to welcome its first residents as early as the start of the 2026–2027 school year.
