UniLaSalle and French NGO Acted announce the signing of a three-year renewable strategic partnership to combine their expertise in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at both the local and global levels.

Driven by shared values of humanism and commitment and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the two institutions intend to leverage their complementary strengths to promote local initiatives and innovation, educate young people about sustainable development issues, stimulate applied research, and encourage solidarity initiatives. Their shared goal: to build a “3ZERO” world—zero exclusion, zero carbon, zero poverty.

A partnership structured around six main areas

1. Training and professional integration

Internship, work-study, and employment opportunities for students, annual career events, and presentations by professionals, organized jointly by Acted and UniLaSalle, may be offered throughout the year.

2. Student engagement

UniLaSalle and Acted will be able to develop projects involving students in an academic or associative capacity to participate in the design of innovative solutions in response to concrete situations in humanitarian and development contexts.

3. International outreach via the La Salle network

UniLaSalle will facilitate connections between Acted and the 1,500 institutions in the La Salle network in more than 80 countries, while Acted will mobilize its own network of collaborators, partners, and beneficiaries in 43 countries to create local synergies around shared values.
 

4.    Recherche et innovation

Les deux partenaires pourront répondrons à des appels à projets conjoints pour développer des solutions innovantes sur des thématiques clés telles que la sécurité alimentaire, l’accès à l’eau, l’adaptation au changement climatique, les technologies  au service du développement, etc.

5.    Formation continue

Acted et UniLaSalle pourront coconstruire des formations certifiantes ou diplômantes destinées à des publics spécifiques, notamment dans le cadre du déploiement du Campus 3ZÉRO, catalyseur de projets éducatifs et sociétaux innovants.

6.    Communication

Enfin, les deux institutions s’engagent à mobiliser leurs communautés et partenaires autour des grands enjeux humanitaires, environnementaux et sociaux.
