On Monday, June 16, 2025, an official ceremony marked the renewal of the cooperation agreement between the UniLaSalle Polytechnic Institute and De La Salle Lipa University (DLSL), located in the Philippines. The signing took place on the Beauvais campus in the presence of Philippe Choquet, Director General of UniLaSalle, and Dr. Teodosia Merlin C. Suarez, Chancellor of DLSL.

This partnership, which is part of a global Lasallian initiative, aims to strengthen academic and scientific exchanges between the two institutions for the next five years. It covers several areas of common interest such as food science, agriculture, nutrition, geology, the environment, energy, digital technology, and veterinary medicine.

Specifically, the agreement provides for:

• the reciprocal hosting of students for academic mobility periods of up to one year;
• the exchange of professors and researchers for training or research missions;
• the development of joint projects, including collaborative research, publications, and the co-organization of conferences.

This renewal coincides with the very first participation of DLSL students in the summer program “Food as Medicine” organized by UniLaSalle, in which three Filipino students are currently taking part.

This renewed cooperation embodies the shared desire to promote the exchange of knowledge, interculturality, and educational solidarity between Lasallian institutions committed to international engagement.
