On Saturday, March 26, 2022, UniLaSalle distinguished itself at the Sirha Europain* by receiving an award in the products/drinks/ingredients category for bakery-pastry-snacking. The Un grain de plaisir brand was honored. A range of products developed within the framework of the Interreg AVENIRS project (Artisanat Vecteur Européen de Nutrition Intelligente et Responsable pour la Santé), piloted by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Hauts-de-France and whose scientific responsibility was borne by UniLaSalle.

For four years, the AVENIRS project has supported the desire of the CMA of Hauts-de-France to find keys to the development of its artisan bakers. UniLaSalle has joined the consortium of players involved in the future of the artisanal bakery industry: Lesaffre, Sasa Demarle, the professional organizations Syntra West and the Pom WVL

Taste + nutrition: a range without compromise!


The Un grain de plaisir brand has been developed to complement the artisanal offer by meeting consumers' expectations: giving them access to more balanced products adapted to nutritional constraints (diabetes, overweight, cardiovascular diseases, etc.).
The Un grain de plaisir range combines targeted and claimed nutritional qualities, in compliance with regulations, with traditional know-how. All the recipes are made available to regional artisans who are committed to respecting the established formulations in order to guarantee the nutritional benefits sought by the consumer.
The range consists of 12 products and 64 craftsmen from Hauts-de-France and Flanders have already received technical and commercial support to present their products in stores.

*Sirha Europain is the leading trade show for bakery and pastry professionals in France. It was held in Paris from March 26 to 29, 2022.
