The Computer Networks and Connected Objects engineering program trains engineers capable of understanding the entire communication chain of networked objects. Engineers who graduate from this program are able to design connected objects and their applications, implement the network infrastructure necessary for their communication, and set up servers and services to store and manage the data from these objects.

Communicating systems and objects, also known as the Internet of Things (IoT), are invading our environment and will revolutionize our daily lives.

Connected systems are at the heart of innovations related to :

  • Smart-GRID (for efficient energy management),
  • Smart-Building (for an efficient supervision of buildings),
  • Smart-City (to coordinate services to citizens)
  • Smart-Industry (for a more efficient organization of production).
