In a series of videos produced by Thotis, a digital media outlet dedicated to career guidance, UniLaSalle invites you to step into the shoes of engineering students for a day.

For this fourth and final episode, we invite you to follow in the footsteps of Suzy, a first-year student in the integrated preparatory program in Life and Environmental Sciences on the Rouen campus.

Passionate about agronomy and with a strong appetite for international experiences, Suzy joined UniLaSalle Rouen after completing a STAV baccalaureate. Her choice of school was an obvious one: UniLaSalle is the only school to offer a 100% English-taught engineering program in agronomy from the first year onwards. The student also appreciates the “integrated preparatory program” format, which provides her with better support and a non-competitive atmosphere.

What excites her most about her program? The practical approach and the variety of courses. But what she remembers most are the study trips in Europe: four trips that allow her to observe in the field the concepts she has learned in class.

At the same time, Suzy is thriving in campus life. She is very athletic, playing soccer and cheerleading, participating in the beekeeping club, and serving as a school ambassador. “The school gives us Thursday afternoons to devote to these activities,” she points out in the video.

With practical work, tutorials, field trips, and a close-knit class, Suzy is enjoying a rich, fast-paced, and forward-looking first year. It's a program that reflects who she is: curious, committed, and resolutely international.
