What is energy sobriety?

Energy sobriety is the moderation, or even the reduction of energy production and consumption through changes in behavior and uses.


The objective?

To avoid any overconsumption of energy to reduce our environmental impact by taking into account our real needs.

In a context of climate emergency, energy sobriety means .

  • Reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and therefore our carbon footprint
  • Limiting our use of natural resources
